Exercise-SCAD
A study of exercise rehabilitation after spontaneous coronary artery dissection, run by the University of Leicester with Edinburgh Napier University and the University of the West of Scotland.
Taking part
Participants join this study in person, with a member of the study team. There is nothing to set up on your own and no personal link to look for — at your appointment a researcher will sit with you and use this site to connect your activity data.
You will be asked to sign in to your own Google account and give permission. The study never sees your password, and you can withdraw at any time.
What this website does
With the participant’s permission, this website reads physical-activity data — such as steps, heart rate and sleep — from the Google account that holds their Fitbit records. It collects one fixed period: the 90 days ending on the participant’s final study assessment.
Access is read-only. The study never writes to, changes or deletes anything in a participant’s Google account, and collection stops once that single period has been retrieved.
See About the study and the Privacy notice for what is collected, how it is stored, and how to withdraw.
